Wow, so funding is set for the event which means kicking everything into high gear. Today we got a sense of the scale of this event, and if you visit our house, you can too. What I’m referring to is the massive amount of water we spent the entire day moving.
As part of our proposal our goal was to make 4,000 bag lunches, which means… 4,000 water bottles. For some reason the school decided to order the water bottle ahead of schedule and delivered to the Student Government office. The night before they decided to let us know that we had to pick them up.
So, called into action the bros came together to transport 167 24-bottle water cases to the Greenhouse.

Casey, Randy, Izach, and Water- Lots of It
Casey picked up the transport vehicle (a U-Haul van) to carry the boxes. Luckily the boxes just made it into the van. Above you see the van parked on the street behind Carl’s Jr. Now figure the distance all the way to the Student Government office (Around the corner from mail station, past the stairs to downstairs commons). Yeah.
I had just came from the Lyon center so was short on energy, yet somehow we all managed to move everything into the van. On a mission, we just kept going.

Water, Randy, and Boxers
Did I mention we then unloaded them at the Greenhouse?
Yeah, and to add to that, we will need to move them again on the day of the event in the same manner! Until then, they fill half the kitchen and the living room. Besides making sub-par chairs, they don’t have much other use. The idea has been thrown out about oversized lego blocks, but that sounded pretty dangerous.
So the bulk of the work has just started. Operation Arrowhead is just the tip of the iceberg as we continue to make strides in what will be the biggest Zeta Phi “Skid” Rho to date.
